Q: Will the reliability of my electric service change with deregulation?
Q: What has stayed the same in electric service with deregulation?

Q: Do you offer Budget Billing?
In Pennsylvania where the Utility does the billing, customers will automatically remain on Budget Billing when they switch to Stream Energy. Nothing will change for the customer.
While the Utility also does the billing in Maryland, Budget Billing does not carry over for the energy charges when a customer switches providers. Delivery charges however will remain on Budget Billing. Like in Texas and Georgia, the customer must true-up their account when they switch to Stream Energy. Stream Energy does not offer Budget Billing at this time in Maryland but would like to in the near future.
Whatever market a customer is in, they should always contact their current provider to determine how their budget plan will be impacted by switching to a new provider.
